Look who’s buying The Bell: Community bid to save iconic Bath pub

That’s the slogan from Saved By The Bell – a documentary made by Hattie Knight and Alex Vissaridis focussing on what’s happening at one of Bath‘s most iconic pubs, The Bell Inn.

The documentary was made to raise awareness about a community buyout scheme which is currently underway after the pub was recently put up for sale. Since the scheme began, a number of music industry giants have invested in the buyout scheme including Michael Eavis, Portishead, Will Gregory of Goldfrapp, The Stranglers, The Wurzels and more. Bath On TV caught up with Hattie Knight and Wendy Matthews, one of the organisers of the Bath Fringe Festival to get the low-down.
