LOCAL FILMMAKERS: ‘Shoot Me’ (PEYOTE) by Conor Purcell

bath tv peyote shoot meHere’s the music video for ‘Shoot Me’ by Bath Spa third year student band PEYOTE from their debut album ‘Quite Like It’, due to be released on iTunes on 20th May.

The video was produced by second year Bath Spa University student Conor Purcell.

PEYOTE is a four piece blues, rock’n’roll band formed late 2010 and influenced by a mutual love of Quentin Tarantino movies. It was an insatiable thirst for the style, energy and emotion of the music that caused them to begin writing, performing and producing their own material, and with all the fun, they never found a reason to stop.

The bands influences include Nick Cave, Courtney Talyor, Anton Newcombe, PJ Harvey, Lou Reed, Marc Bolan, David Bowie, The Pixies, Josh Homme, Ian Dury, Dr Feelgood.

PEYOTE comprises Joseph Little, George Wilse, Tom O’Reilly and Andrew Squance.
